Logline:
Three Chicano brothers disagree on how to handle their father as he struggles with his addiction at a lonely quiet bus stop.
Story:
Driftin’ on a Memory is a drama short film about Drew, the oldest of three Chicano brothers, trying to force his father back to rehab after he has a bad relapse and after finally listening to his brothers, Ben and Jeremy, starts to question what he’s really doing at this empty bus stop.

Peter Mendoza was born and raised in East Los Angeles. He studied acting, stage combat, and dance at East Los Angeles College. Hugo Mejia
Hugo Mejia is a television academy foundation alum and is trilingual (ASL, Spanish, English). A resilient actor & writer who grew up with a deaf mom and dad. He is what many in the deaf community would call a CODA, which is an acronym that means both of his parents are deaf. As a hearing son of deaf parents, he communicates in ASL and Lengua de Señas Mexicana (Mexican Sign Language). He also grew up speaking Spanish in a Mexican-American household. A San Diego State University graduate with a BA in Communications and minor in Television, Film, and New Media. Hugo began in theater, then worked as an on air personality for a local TV station, and eventually ventured out into acting on set for films. One of Hugo’s career goals is to be a lead in a TV series that he pitched and wrote himself.
Carlos Sanchez
Carlos Sanchez is an actor, writer and puppeteer from Echo Park, California. He is committed to bringing the stories of this historic neighborhood to the stage and screen. Carlos just concluded a two-year run as a puppeteer for the renowned Bob Baker Marionette Theater. His latest theater performances are MALINCHE, SLAVES, THE KID IN THE LAST ROW, THE WOMEN OF JUAREZ, SEVEN ELEVEN, A BETTER STORY and his plays ALL CITY and NINE. His play NINE was filmed as a short movie and recognized at numerous international film festivals.
Basilio Cerdan
Basilio Cerdan Jr is a 23 year old Mexican-American born and raised in Houston, Texas. He moved to Los Angeles, California to study and pursue acting full time. He began his career in social media with humorous skits but is now transitioning froma social media creator to full time thespian. Some recent project has been in includes Maya (Feature Film Released), Vemana (Short Film Released) and First Check (Short Film Post Production).
