This movie was everything we needed to see when it came to relationships. Now now now, I know what you’re thinking.. Another movie about relationships? I promise you; this is not your typical cheesy romcom. I want you back, is about Peter and Emma who is played by Jenny Slater and Charlie Day. Total strangers that happen to work in the same office building, when they meet, then realize they were both dumped on the same weekend. There talks quickly become into a “How can we get our ex’s back?” Sound the horns and let “Ultimate Mission” commence. Their genius plan is to become friends with their ex’s and try to basically sabotage their new relationships.
Who are the exes you ask? Well, they are Anne and Noah played by Gina Rodriguez and Scott Eastwood”, yes he is Clint Eastwoods son. These 2 start new relationships and for 1 of them, it wasn’t all it was cracked up to be. Let’s just say, things get interesting. From almost having a three some, becoming an overnight fitness junkie. This super cute comedy teaches a lot of lessons in love and to what extremes we put ourselves through for others.
