Join the Latin Babbler and the crew as they welcome special guest Cristina Malakhai and the team of the award-winning music video “Distancia” which includes amazing Producer Marcus “Bellringer” Bell and award-winning Director, Stefany Rojo. This week will also feature an amazing Artist Spotlight Camilo Sanchez with his new debut of Project Monokoi new single “Abre Los Ojos Y Grita“, and urban artists from Washington heights Bryan Fernandez.

Cristina Malakhai  (Los Peces de Cristina) is a singer-songwriter, producer, radio broadcaster, and actress from Barcelona, Spain. She charted #1 in iTunes Spain with the project Los Peces de Cristina, which was well received by national tv and radio outlets, and started her tour which lead to her performing over 100 shows across Europe and beyond.

Multi-lingual and singing in Catalan, Spanish, and English, Cristina exemplifies how music goes beyond borders as a universal language to unite and inspire. Audiences in different countries value her music beyond the language of each song, from Europe to North America and from the US to international festivals around the world such as the Looe Music Festival, England; ThissFest, Parkpop Festival, Holland; and MADO, Madrid, Spain.

As a talented songwriter and music producer in her own right, Cristina has collaborated with many gifted and renowned producers and musicians like Marco Morgione (El Guincho, Delorean), the Catalan guitarist Oriol Saltor (La Puerta de Los Sueños), Marco Cinelli (Tòfol Martínez, Cinelli Brothers), Boo Hewerdine (“British singer-songwriter”-BBC), country songwriter Tim McGeary (“Smallville,” “One Tree Hill”), and most recently, international pop producer Marcus “Bellringer” Bell (Nicki Minaj, Katy Perri, Snoop Dogg, Timbaland).

Marcus “Bellringer” Bell is an American music producer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, singer, social media influencer, activist and entrepreneur.

He has marketed and promoted, produced, remixed and written for, mentored and developed some of the world’s superstars and brands. His list of credits include Shelita Burke, Nicki Minaj, Snoop Dogg, Timbaland, Gala, Hadise, Park Jung-Ah, Amitabh Bachchan, Sony Music, HBO, Netflix, Showtime, Discovery Network, Amazon, Warner Brothers, Arista Records, EMI and Universal Music to name a few. He has also created music for worldwide brands such as McDonalds and General Mills. Marcus Bell, the entrepreneur, is the CEO of Bellringer Productions LLC, amusic sync licensing and production company that operates a catalogue of over 10,000 songs and over 300 recording artists.

Bell published an Amazon #1 best selling book titled “Bellringer Branding Bible: The 5 Musician Branding Principles for Singers, Rappers, DJs, Music Producers, Composers, Writers, and Recording Artists.” Global superstar Beyonce performed to one of the songs produced by Bellringer on her “On the Run II Tour” co-headlined with husband Jay-Z.

Colombian musician-producer Camilo Sánchez is releasing his new musical project Monokoi today November 11th. Sanchez is based in Los Angeles and is a member of the audiovisual collective Monitor and guest musician of the Latin GRAMMY® award-winning band Diamante Eléctrico. He embarks on a solo path influenced by a universe of sounds and experiences throughout his career; “Abre Los Ojos Y Grita” is the first track of this experimental journey which includes mixing synthesizers from the ’80s, different textures, samples recorded with a cell phone and a bass line that embraces the groove along with the beats. The song was written between the cities of Melbourne, Australia, and Los Angeles, California and it gives a positive message to all the people who suffer from anxiety, depression, or suicidal thoughts.

Bryan Fernandez is a 20 year old Dominican artist from Washington Heights. His artwork is about the Dominican Diaspora that is found in the United States and examines the Dominican U.S culture in connection the the island and beyond. Bryan is currently a 3rd year student at the School of Visual Arts, and president of the Latinx club “La Bodega SVA”. He is part of a show called “The Privilege of Getting Together” located on 76 Bowery street in lower Manhattan.”
