For our 100th Episode we have the pleasure of interviewing telenovela sensation Alejandro Nones from Amar a Muerte, La Piloto, Malverde: El Santo Patrón, And he now stars as Rodolfo Lazcano one of the biggest hits on Netflix this year “Quien Mato a Sara” (Who Killed Sara).
Our Special Guest – Alejandro Nones!
Born in Venezuela and a citizen of the world, Alejandro Nones is an actor who began his career in Mexico, and has since taken part in numerous soap operas, television series, movies, and theater.
He migrated to the United States for six years, where he decided to further develop his acting skills in New York and Los Angeles, which helped him prepare for future roles in shorts and feature films, such as En la Oscuridad, Add me and Lo que podríamos ser.
Known for his intense dramatic performances, Nones participated in the Univisión program Mira Quien Baila (Spanish version of Dancing with the Stars), remaining among the semifinalists.
Following his big break as the leading role in the film Así del precipicio, he entered the Centro de Educación Artística de Televisa, which opened the door to more opportunities, allowing him to perform important roles within the company in soap operas such as Teresa, Corona de Lágrimas and Pasión y Poder. In addition, he continued with major series such as, La Piloto, Amar a Muerte and Malverde: El Santa Patrón Nones has most recently garnered international notoriety from his starring role as ‘Rodolfo Lazcano’ in Netflix’s worldwide hit Spanish-language drama series Who Killed Sara? (¿Quién mató a Sara?) which launches its highly anticipated third season in May 2022. The series ranks as one of Netflix’s Top 10 Most Viewed Shows consistently hitting #1 in over 44 countries abroad as well as in the U.S.
It is the first Latin American Netflix series to be dubbed in eight languages:
Portuguese, English, Italian, French, German, Turkish, Polish and Hindi.
Additionally, he is an Executive Producer for the feature film The Box (La caja) which screened at last year’s 78th Venice International Film Festival.
Nones is also a Brand Ambassador for the renowned luxury watch, jewelry, and accessory manufacturer and retailer Chopard famous for their artisanal and innovative designs.
