THE STORY

They Come in Colors is the story of a young painter, Ashley, who struggles with Anxiety Disorder. After a traumatic separation from her mother, Claudia, Ashley decides to seek treatment with her Therapist, Dr. Sheridan. After practicing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with her therapist, Ashley finally has the confidence and resources she needs to help her cope with her Separation Anxiety. She tells her story about living with anxiety through her artwork. She even gets offered her very own exhibition at one of her favorite galleries.  

Ashley is on cloud 9 and full of excitement, until she receives a voicemail from her mom who is eager to reconnect. Overwhelmed with emotions, Ashley reaches out to Dr. Sheridan, who shows her different ways of helping her cope before her important exhibition and potentially seeing her mother again. Dr. Sheridan introduces her to new techniques such as Imaginal Exposure Therapy, Opposite Action, Art Therapy, and proper breathing. 

Will Ashley reconnect with her mother? These are the stakes – Psychological – that drive the suspense in They Come in Colors.

Brianna Fernandez – Producer/Creator

Brianna Fernandez is a SAG- AFTRA actress, Voice over actor, and Content Creator. Her content features lifestyle videos of comedy and bringing communities together. An energetic and awkward Latina who doesn’t mind “embracing her weird,” Bri’s message is to remind her audience that they are enough and perfect just the way they are. She shares her relationship with her family, Latin community, , and faith through her content. 

Stefany Rojo – Director

Stefany Rojo is a Peruvian award-winning director/ graduate of UCLA. She is most notably known for directing films that focus on mental health awareness: specifically, Anxiety Disorders. She is also passionate about films that focus on strong woman. Stefany is excited to direct this film, because it is extremely personal to her story. She hopes to use this film to help others who also struggle with Anxiety. 

Todo Wafi is a leading digital media company representing the diversity of the Latino community.  Todo Wafi manages a network of social media channels of nearly 200,000 Latinos. Owner of @SomethingLatina @SomethingLatino @todowafi @latinbabbler. TodoWafi connects brands with the diverse Latino community through multimedia touchpoints in video, podcast, editorial, and social media. This is TodoWafi’s first production partnership to raise awareness in BIPOC communities on the very important subject of mental health.
