A multifaceted Artist (writes, produces, makes all kinds of Latin music) with innovation, diversity, and excellence. This Puerto Rican singer, born in Río Piedras, Puerto Rico has been one of the most prominent interpreters of the Urbano and Salsa Dura genre.
As a child, he followed, watched, and traveled with his father, who was a local Salsa singer/percussionist. At age 14, Don Sonero began to sing Latin music professionally, with his first concert as a background vocalist for Pete “El Conde” Rodríguez. Thus he continued and prospered as a vocalist for more than 50 artists such as Eddie Palmieri, Oscar de León, Cano Estremera, Gilberto Santa Rosa, Frankie Negron and Andy Montanez. His strength soon after became that of a lead singer. He is currently one of the best young singers/soneros in the world, counting on a multitude of Salsa and Charanga bands, including Orquesta Broadway and Son Sublime, whose album “Bailando Con Son Sublime”, He is the featured singer.
This Year he is releasing another single with different inspiration and written in his own hand entitled “Almost, Almost. Perfect”.
