We had the pleasure of speaking to Rocio Estrada, Costume Designer of the Hulu hit show This Fool starring Frankie Quinones and Chris Estrada now streaming its second season on Hulu.
About Rocio Estrada
Rocio Estrada is a bilingual, first-generation, Mexican-American woman raised in Inglewood, California. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theater Arts from the University of California, Santa Cruz. She attended Cal Arts and obtained certification through its summer Theater Arts program. As a scholarship recipient, she graduated from the Film and Television program at the non-profit, Inner City Filmmakers. I completed a certification program for Spanish
and English Interpreting and Translation at UCLA Extension.
She has a 20-year trajectory and multifaceted background working in costumes for Film and Television. For the past 17 years, I have been a proud member of Motion Picture Costumers Local 705. As well as a 3-year member of the Costume Designers Guild 892. For the past 11 years, she has worked as a customer for the fast-paced, highly entertaining, live television show, Jimmy Kimmel Live.

She has also worked on several major motion pictures with a variety of genres and creative directions from various Costume Designers, including motion pictures such as Cowboys & Aliens, How Do You Know?, Angels & Demons, G-Force, National Treasure 2, and various others.
For several years now, She has been an active volunteer and contributor to OFA Kids (One for All), a nonprofit organization based in Inglewood, California. OFA Kids helps and supports children and teens from underprivileged neighborhoods by providing school supplies, academic scholarships, gifts, clothing, and food during the academic school year and holidays.
SYNOPSIS: “This Fool” is an irreverent, cinematic half-hour comedy set in working class South Central Los Angeles. After Julio’s job and love life blew up at the end of last season, this season, new roommates Julio and Luis embark on finding new careers and romances with the help of Minister Payne, Chef Percy and other former Huggers.
