Las Mujeres del Futuro

Mujeres del Futuro is a safe space of belonging that centers the potential of us Latinas in the digital economy. The way they approach this mission is innovative as it provides personal, professional, and entrepreneurial training to live out your full potential.

Las Mujeres del Energizing Your Essence Conference

The Energizing Your Essense Summit is an event that is organized by this incredible organization. This summit is a safe space para nosotras to develop and support each other as leaders.

This year’s conference will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2023, and facilitated by the founder of Mujeres del Futuro, Teresa Park. Why does that name sound familiar you might ask? Well, she’s a pro at personal and professional development, with workshops that have been presented to over 5,300 women worldwide, and being recognized by major Fortune 100 companies. Not only that, but she’s also going to be featured in our very own Revolucion Entrepreneur discussion panel on October 12th!

Todo Wafi recently had the opportunity to interview five Mujeres del Futuro who are going to be highlighted in this year’s event. The women who will be highlighted in the Energizing Your Essence Conference include:

Rosalina Espinosa, the CEO of Joya Artesanal
Astrid Garcia Luna, Interior Architect and Event Planner
Miriam Marez Quiñones, a community leader

Diana Cruz, Host of the Platiquemos Entre Padres Podcast
Kiani Sanchez, Host of the Platiquemos Entre Padres Podcast
Noemi Patricia Gonzaga Montez de Oca, a Social Media Manager and Photographer

Rosalina Espinosa, the CEO of Joya Artesanal

Astrid Garcia Luna, and Interior Architect and Event Planner

Miriam Marez Quiñones, a community leader

Diana Cruz and Kiani Sanchez, the Hosts of the Platiquemos Entre Padres Podcast

Noemi Patricia Gonzaga Montez de Oca, a Social Media Manager and Photographer

Without further ado, here are these inspiring women’s responses to our questions:

Q1: What is something you created that you are proud of? How is this an expression of your essence?

Rosalinda
Joya Artesanal is my most exciting and fulfilling project. It is a true expression of who I am in my essence. My business helps artisans achieve financial independence, and the jewelry we create helps women express their beauty and pride in their Mexican heritage. In doing all this, I am a bridge to connection.

Astrid
I am very proud of building a fulfilling career that brought me to work in the U.S. in one of the world’s most renowned interior design companies. Also, I hold the position of Chair of Events for a globally recognized organization. Most importantly, I am proud to have worked on my healing so I can be an authentic, courageous, and vulnerable self who is unafraid to share my essence with the world.

Miriam
I am a Coordinator and Facilitator for a parenting leadership course. It all started when I took this course so I could gather tools and advocate for my child’s education who has special needs. I took this position so I can help other Latino parents advocate for their children’s education. It has allowed me to forge connections, meet new people, and share knowledge to inspire and empower individuals to use their voices to create change.

Diana & Kiani
Platiquemos Entre Padres is a podcast with the mission to help parents foster happier childhoods while providing support for parents. We highlight real-life experiences and challenges to normalize and create positive change for parents and their children.

Noemi
I am the Social Media Manager for Mujeres del Futuro, a safe space of belonging that centers the potential of Latinas in the digital economy. As a Latina immigrant, I understand firsthand the discrimination, barriers, and inequalities we face in the U.S., and being able to serve my community by creating a virtual safe space has been a calling. I am so proud to be creating positive change in the lives of other Latina women.

Q2: What motivated you to attend the Latina summit Energiza tu Esencia created by Mujeres del Futuro and sponsored by Something Latina?

Rosalinda
I was motivated by my quest to find my truest self. To answer the question: Who am I and who do I want to be? I attended the summit last year and the energy is magical and indescribable. The connection that you build with other fellow Latinas is something extraordinary.

Astrid
I am committed to my healing process and the deep feeling of belonging I experienced in Mujeres del Futuro has been an integral part of my healing journey. This is why I am excited to attend the Energiza tu Esencia summit.

Miriam
A notification popped up on social media and I was unrecognizable. I was radiating joy, energy, and immense love. That’s when I decided I cannot keep putting myself on the back burner. Attending this summit is just what my soul needs to be energized and filled with love in a safe space of belonging for Latinas.

Diana & Kiani
It is an incredible feeling to be surrounded by so many wonderful Latina leaders. Creating a network built on vulnerability and support. We felt such a strong connection and experience being in a safe space where we no longer felt alone but instead, we were powerful in the community.

Noemi
I have not experienced something like Energiza tu Esencia where there is such a unique energy filled with harmony, unity, and sisterhood. Also learning from Teresa Park is always a privilege so I never miss an opportunity to attend one of her events.

Q3: Share one phrase that is meaningful to you at the moment.

Rosalinda
“Highlight the beauty of your essence.”

Astrid
My best effort is enough. I am enough.”

Miriam
“Everything you do, do it extraordinarily.”

Diana & Kiani
“Embrace mistakes. Learn from them. They’re part of the process. Prioritizing yourself is not selfishness. It’s how you show yourself love.”

Noemi
“Every single moment is an opportunity to love.”
