Yblack (28) who’s real name is Robert Diaz was born in the Dominican Republic. He is currently a Producer, Composer, and Singer. He’s loved music from a very young age when his dad gave him his first CD player. With the money that he got for school; Diaz would buy CD’s to listen to the artist that inspired him the most. Artists like Don Omar, Hector & Tito El Bambino and Wisin & Yandel. Little by little, he developed his own style. At 15, (around 2006) people from his church gave donations and he was able to produce his first recording with a computer that he built. Working with only a microphone and software. Yblack recalls the quality was bad.
After moving to the US he continued to be a barber, and by working hard and not giving up he was able to get his own equipment to keep recording music. When he is not working, Diaz puts his headphones to work on his music. Yblack does his own promos on Facebook and Instagram and so far, the response has been amazing. Yblack is working hard to ensure that he can accomplish his dream of being an artist.
YBlacks music can be found on Instagram and YouTube as “Yblackmusic”.
