SNL had not one but two Latinas on the show for the first time in 20 years when Salma Hayek and Christina Aguilera hosted. Oscar-nominated actress Ana De Armas hosted her first SNL episode on Saturday, April 15th with award-winning Colombian singer Karol G as a special musical guest.
Throughout the duration of the episode De Armas shows fans her comedic side as she performed in various sketches such as The Guinness Book of World Records, Dog School for Acting, The American Girl trailer, and Please Don’t Destroy Hangxiety.
However, the one that was my favorite was the sketch entitled Spanish Class. The actress showed off her Spanish speaking and her comedy skills in the sketch Spanish class where she acted alongside SNL cast member Marcello Hernandez and singer Karol G made a surprise entrance at the end of the sketch.
The night ended with Karol G performing her single from her album Mañana Será Bonito.
